How to Properly Endorse Your Check

Step 1: Endorse Your Check

Endorse the back of your check first. Print the words FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY below your signature to ensure timely processing. Mobile deposits will be rejected if not properly endorsed. 

Step 2: Take a Picture

Take a photo of both sides of your check using the the American First Mobile App. Your check will automatically be deposited into your account with proper endorsement.

Void your check and save it for 30 days. Depending on the amount of the check, your deposit amount may not be immediately available for withdrawal.

*External Account Transfers within Online and Mobile Banking are not available for share certificates, IRAs, and commercial real estate loans. Set up recurring transfers or visit our online loan payment center for safe and timely loan payments.
